The Owner: Hello, my name is Tess.
I have always had a passion for animals. Especially dogs and horses. I have previously worked in the Equine Industry as an Assistant Breeding Manager. After leaving the Industry I wanted to take what I learned in Horse Husbandry and apply it to my other passion...German Shepherds.
I started by doing research into the breed and finding lines that worked for my lifestyle and goals I had for the future program.
I purchased Reve as a puppy in the hopes she would be the foundation dam for the program.
And boy she did not disappoint!
Our Program
We are a small family-owned program specializing in working line (Czech/DDR) German Shepherds.
At Brighton Shepherds, we strive to produce healthy puppies in a home environment.
All Adults are Health Tested! We do genetic Embark and OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals). All dogs in the program are DM (Degenerative Myelopathy) Clear.
Our program only consist of females. We outsouce Studs that best match or improve our females.
All Studs must be health Tested with above average results. They also must be Titled in dog sports.
