I have always had a passion for animals. Especially dogs and horses. I have previously worked in the Equine Industry as an Assistant Breeding Manager. After leaving the Industry I wanted to take what I learned in Horse Husbandry and apply it to my other passion...German Shepherds.

I started by doing research into the breed and finding lines that worked for my lifestyle and goals I had for the future program.

I purchased Reve as a puppy in the hopes she would be the foundation dam for the program.

And boy she did not disappoint!

Our Dogs

Our Program

We are a small family-owned program specializing in working line (Czech/DDR) German Shepherds.

At Brighton Shepherds, we strive to produce healthy puppies in a home environment.

All Adults are Health Tested! We do genetic Embark and OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals). All dogs in the program are DM (Degenerative Myelopathy) Clear.

Our program only consist of females. We outsouce Studs that best match or improve our females.

All Studs must be health Tested with above average results. They also must be Titled in dog sports.

Reve Van Zenna

Reve is our foundation female. She is personable and has a high ball drive, medium drive for food. She is a dog that can be taken anywhere. We are working on titling her soon.

Embark clear of over 229 genetically tested conditions. DM Clear.

Brighton Van Celine Reverie

Celine is the keeper puppy from the 2025 litter.

She will hopefully be added to the program after results of health testing is known.

Our Breeding Goals

We believe that every puppy deserves to be healthy, happy, and loved. That's why we focus on breeding dogs that are not only beautiful but also have excellent temperaments and come from parents who are tested for genetic health issues.

We focus on family first dogs with correct conformation and the ability to be working/sport dogs if desired.

Our Puppy Guarantee

We stand behind our puppies and guarantee their health for up to one year. We also provide a lifetime of support to our puppy owners, including advice on training, nutrition, and any other questions you may have.

All health related guarantees are specified in our Puppy Contract.

The Contract can be emailed upon request.

Puppy Questionnaire

Brighton Shepherds has a puppy questionnaire that all potential owners must fill out.

Puppy Pick

Puppies are pick based on which order deposits are placed. We start taking deposits when puppies are born.

Potential owners will pick which gender they prefer and then notified which number pick they are.

Picks are made at 5 weeks of age. Brighton Shepherds will organize a puppy pick day. Owners can come in person or join a Teams/Zoom meeting to pick their puppy.

This event is only to meet the litter and Dam. Puppies will not go home until 8 weeks of age.

Go Home Package

Puppies go home with a Go Home Bag. Which includes AKC Registration(Limited Registration), Puppy Contract (Signed by Breeder and Buyer at pick up), Veterinarian and deworming records, Toys, and puppy food.

Brighton Shepherds is a lifelong recourse for all puppy parents. We love staying in contact with our puppy families.
